Based on your analysis of the Film, from the perspective of the History channel, Characterize the Fall of Rome.
What caused Rome to fall/collapse? Was it a transition to new ruler ships from the invading barbarians or was it chaotic?

**Make sure you include your thesis statement when answering this question. Remember you must answer all parts of the prompt.

Athens and Sparta DBQ due friday: Make sure you have followed all the directions for the DBQ. You will be graded based upon the DBQ Rubric so follow your rubric. It is a guideline to help you on the DBQ assignment. good luck :)

You may use your text book: However, please write the terms in YOUR own words. ( Writing word for Word is Plagerism!) See the example posted to help you write your terms. Be explicit and be sure to explain the significance for Each Term!

Readings:
Ward-Perkins- Make sure you have the " Fall of the Roman Empire" read by Tuesday of Next week: This book gives you a great insight on the Fall of the Roman Empire.  Be sure to write notes on the margins of your booklets on ideas that you think are important!

"Spartan Soldiers": Please have this assignment Read by Thursday. We will be discussing this article in class on Monday. Come Prepared and ready to discuss. Develop critical thinking questions on the reading to further our discussion about the article. ( Participation is  must in this class!)

" Journey to the Underworld"- Odyssey: Student please have this read by Thursday and Answer discussion questions 1 and 2 only. We will discuss this first thing on Thursday so please be ready to go! Discussion questions must be complete in order for us to have a successful discussion
